Direct Support Professional

Valley Advantages is searching for new Direct Support Professionals to add to our team!

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Supporting and assisting with desired activities and day-to-day choices.
• Support daily tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, and attending appointments.
• Promote independence, implementing everyday life skills and modeling appropriate social behaviors.
• Provide medical support: administering medications, maintain medical records and attending medical appointments.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Advocate for people with disabilities and encourage community inclusion.
• Maintain documentation: Maintain regular, and accurate electronic documentation.
• Complete all regulatory trainings.
